Agostino Leveque is a Ph.D. candidate at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw.

The supervisor of his doctoral work is Prof. Mirosław Giersz.

His thesis is about populating globular clusters in external galaxies using MOCCA (MOnte Carlo Cluster simulAtor) models. The main goals of the research are related to (1) the determination of the observational dependencies of the parameters describing the populations of compact objects in globular clusters depending on their location in the galaxy and (2) the assessment of the rate of accretion of globular clusters to nuclear star clusters and the mass structure of supermassive black holes.
