I will summarise the main topics discussed during the conference at Santiago last April. They are faint dwarf galaxies, tidal dwarf galaxies, streams in the LG and nearby Universe and Ultra-Compact Dwarf galaxies. It will be an easy overview to popularise a part of the main issue in the fields of the dwarf galaxies.
