Christian Ikechukwu Eze is a Ph.D. candidate at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw and a scholar at the Geoplanet Doctoral School.
The supervisor of his doctoral work is Prof. Gerald Handler.
He is working on asteroseismology of massive stars in eclipsing binaries, which is part of the OPUS research project funded by the Polish National Science Center (2021/43/B/ST9/02972), “Exploiting the potential of asteroseismology of binary stars”, led by Prof. Gerald Handler.
He has previously studied pulsar glitches and unification of active galactic nuclei and still occasionally contributes to research in these areas with his old collaborations.
Christian is also a lecturer at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria (UNN) and formerly, a Consortium Board member of the Pan African Planetary and Space Science Network (PAPSSN). He is also a member of some professional organizations such as African Astronomical Society (AFAS) and Astronomical Society of Nigeria (ASN).
He also has Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Physics/Mathematics from Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Enugu (Nigeria).
