Thomas Steinmetz

My scientific interests are primarily in stellar evolution, specifically working in the field of stellar mergers and their remnants. I have also previously worked in AGN-powered outflows as part of my Masters thesis. I previously studied at the University of Sheffield in the UK, and during that time was on placement at the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes on La Palma as a staff astronomer for 1 year, working on the Isaac Newton Telescope.
