The results of the call for NCN scholarships

The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center in Warsaw informs that the winners of the competitions for PhD scholarships under NCN-funded research projects (the announcement of January, 22nd, 2021 and of July 1st, 2021) are the following:

 

1. Mr Sergen Özdemir - in the SONATA BIS research project, no: 2019/34/E/ST9/00133, leading under the guidance of dr Rodolfo Smiljanic;

 

2. Mr John Eduard Martínez Fernández - in the SONATA BIS research project, no: 2019/34/E/ST9/00133, leading under the guidance of dr Rodolfo Smiljanic;


3. Mr Thomas Chatles Steinmetz - in the SONATA BIS research project, no: 2018/30/E/ST9/00398, led by dr Thomas Kamiński;

 

4. Mr Felipe Ignacio Espinoza Arancibia - in the SONATA BIS research project, no: 2020/38/E/ST9/00486, leading under the guidance of dr Bogumił Pilecki;

 

5. Mr Angelos Karakonstantakis - in the PRELUDIUM BIS project, no: 2019/35/O/ST9/03965, led by prof. Włodek Kluźniak.

 

The scholarship will be paid provided that the candidates meet the formal requirements set out in the "Regulations for awarding NCN Scholarships for NCN funded research projects", and (regarding candidate no. 5), additionally - on the terms set out in the provisions of the Act of July 20, 2018. "Law on higher education and science".
