Przemysław Figura is a postdoctoral researcher at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw.

He accomplished his Ph.D. studies at Space Research Centre and in 2018 defended his thesis 'Analysis of Plasma Flows and Magnetic Fields Using Euler Potentials' under supervision of Prof. Wiesław Macek.

He gained experience studying Newtonian noise and analysing seismic data collected for the Virgo gravitational detector. He was also working with numerical star evolutionary codes (MESA) and magnetohydrodymanical star numerical models (HARM).

In 2022 he joined CAMK and the research group led by Prof. Michał Bejger. Currently he is working on detection of continuous and long lasting gravitational waves in LIGO/Virgo detectors data. He is preparing new methods and techniques supporting detection of the faint gravitational signals.

He is a member of the Virgo Collaboration.

The list and links to his publications can be found in NASA ADS service.
