We are pleased to announce The RR Lyrae 2017 Conference. Revival of the Classical Pulsators: from Galactic Structure to Stellar Interior Diagnostics. The conference will take place in the Niepolomice Royal Castle, Niepolomice, Poland from the 17th to the 21st of September 2017.
In this meeting we want to focus on the new developments in our understanding of the pulsations of classical pulsators, RR Lyrae stars and Cepheids. We want to discuss dynamical properties of classical pulsators, their potential for diagnostics of stellar interiors, as well as their applications in other fields of astrophysics, like distance scale or galactic structure studies.
