Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center in Warsaw, Poland, invites applications for a research scholarship for young scientists within the OPUS project “Hot Universe in X-rays” led by dr hab. Agata Różańska and funded by the Polish National Science Centre. The scholarship is available for PhD students in astronomy, astrophysics or related fields. The successful applicants will collaborate with prof. Mirosław Rataj on the project “Structure design and modeling of the filter wheel assembly for WFI of ATHENA observatory”. The candidate is expected to know INVENTOR and MATLAB programming and proficiency in English.
Applications for the scholarship should include a CV with personal data, description of research interests and a list of publications, a copy of the master diploma as well as information concerning scientific accomplishments and awards or distinctions received for research performed so far.
