The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center in Warsaw informs that the winners of the competitions for PhD scholarships under NCN-funded research projects (the announcement of June 2nd, 2020) are the following:
1. Mr Sarkis Kassounian - in the SONATA BIS research project, no: 2019/34/E/ST9/00133, leading under the guidance of dr Rodolfo Smiljanic;
2. Ms Fatemeh Kayanikhoo - in the OPUS research project, no: 2019/33/B/ST9/01564, led by prof. Włodek Kluźniak;
3. Mr Mradumay Sadh - in the Beethoven Classic research project, no: 2018/31/G/ST9/03050, leading under guidance of prof. Grzegorz Pietrzyński;
4. Mr Enda Farrell - in the PRELUDIUM BIS project, no: 2019/35/O/ST9/03965, led by prof. Włodek Kluźniak.
Candidates 1-3) achieve scholarships provided that they obtain a status confirming the fulfilment of formal requirements (§ 3 of Regulations for Awarding NCN Scholarships for NCN funded research projects).
