During the 40th Congress of the Polish Astronomical Society in Szczecin, on September 13, 2021, took place
the ceremony of awarding the Bohdan Paczyński Medal to Professor Romuald Tylend from the Astronomical
Center of Nicolaus Copernicus, Polish Academy of Sciences, in Toruń.
The laudation was delivered by Professor Ryszard Szczerba from the Astronomical Center. Nicolaus Copernicus,
