The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Science Academy (CAMK PAN) informs that in the competition, announced on on 23rd September 2021, for two senior positions in observational astronomy within the project entitled Sub-percent calibration of the extragalactic distance scale in the era of big surveys – UniverScale, financed by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the grant agreement number 951549 (ERC Synergy Grant), led by prof. Grzegorz Pietrzyński as the Principal Investigator, the selection committee recommended and the CAMK PAN Scientific Council approved the employment of:
Prof. Rolf Chini for the senior position 1 and
Dariusz Graczyk PhD for the senior position 2
