CAMK PAN Joins EuCAPT

CAMK PAN joins the European Consortium for Astroparticle Theory (EuCAPT)

We are pleased to announce that the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CAMK PAN) has been accepted into the European Consortium for Astroparticle Theory (EuCAPT)—a Europe-wide network supporting collaboration and knowledge exchange in theoretical astroparticle physics and cosmology.

CAMK PAN joined EuCAPT as part of a joint initiative with several Polish research institutes: the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), the Center for Theoretical Physics PAS (CFT PAN), and the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS (IFJ PAN). Following the individual acceptance of Prof. Włodzimierz Kluźniak, Prof. Leszek Roszkowski, and Dr. hab. Sebastian Trojanowski, our institute has been formally welcomed to the consortium.

The procedure is informal and entails no administrative obligations or the need for an institutional agreement. Membership enables CAMK PAN researchers active in astroparticle physics and theoretical cosmology to participate in EuCAPT initiatives, contribute to its activities, and benefit from membership privileges—including the possibility to apply for funds supporting scientific exchange.

Dr. hab. Sebastian Trojanowski (NCBJ) currently serves as the representative of our group of institutes on the EuCAPT Council.

More information about EuCAPT is available at: https://www.eucapt.org/. For an overview of EuCAPT’s research themes and plans, see the White Paper: Themes & White Paper (arXiv).
