During the 2nd NCAC Symposium "The Orion Nebula: A Laboratory for the Study of Star Formation and Gaseous Nebulae" Professor Robert O'Dell received NCAC Medal for his contribution to astrophysics and his crucial role in the creation of the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center.
